Rates for Maxint consuling services vary depending on the project and type of work involved. Some services have mostly fixed rates, while others require quotes to be given on a case-by-case basis. I pride myself on providing my clients with an extremely high quality to cost ratio. For smaller clients, I typically offer many fringe benefits for free, such as minor tweaking of Web pages and occasional remote assistance with servers.
System Management services are priced on a per-server, per-machine basis. For example, installing a Web server program on two separate machines will cost about twice as much as installing the same software on a single machine. The installation and standard configuration of a server on the System Management page costs $100 per machine. Non-standard or custom configuration may increase the price, depending on the complexity of the customization. For large installations, be sure to ask about volume discounts.

Web programming has the most standardized rates. Website design is a service offered separate from page creation so that you can specify a design of your own if you wish. Dynamic Web pages use small programs (e.g. CGI or SSI) to create Web content each time they are viewed. Please note that more elaborate Web applications may use CGI, but must fall under Software Develoment because of their increased size and complexity. Site templates are blank files and style sheets that can be copied and filled with your own content. They are offered as a low-cost alternative to having an entire site built.
